Next-generation bilyonaryo and politiko newbie Camille Villar is early in celebrating her Senate win.
The daughter of Manny and Senator Cynthia Villar is so far ranked 10th in the senatorial race, based on 97% of votes canvassed based on the Comelec transparency server tally.
“Maraming salamat po!,” read her statement as shared by the Villar Foundation. “Alam kong hindi naging madali ang daan, pero dahil sa tiwala ninyo, nagtagumpay tayo.”
“Dala ko ngayon ang panibagong boses ninyo sa Senado at handa na pong maglingkod, tahimik man o maingay ang laban, para sa bawat Pilipino. Walang iwanan!,” she added.
Once proclaimed, she will join her brother Mark Villar in the Senate.
