Las Piñas City Rep. Camille Villar recently met with El Shaddai leader Bro. Mike Velarde, fueling talk about securing the endorsement of the Catholic charismatic group.
Villar, who is running for senator in the May election, was spotted attending the Palm Sunday mass and healing rally of the El Shaddai group.
In a Facebook post, she hailed the El Shaddai gathering for being full of faith, hope, and God’s love, sharing snapshots from the event.
“Lubos po ang aking pasasalamat sa paanyaya sa Palm Sunday Walk of Faith Mass and Healing Rally ng El Shaddai. Isang malaking biyaya ang makasama sa panalanging pagtitipon na punô ng pananampalataya, pag-asa, at pag-ibig ng Diyos,” she said.
Villar mentioned her family’s longtime support for the mission and ministry of Velarde and the El Shaddai community. She also prayed for the group’s continued success in reaching and healing more lives through the Lord’s Word.
“Sa loob ng maraming taon, naging gabay at inspirasyon ninyo kami sa aming pananampalataya, at patuloy kaming nananalangin para sa mas marami pang buhay na inyong maabot at mapagaling sa pamamagitan ng Salita ng Diyos,” she said.
“Nawa’y pagpalain pa ng Panginoon ang El Shaddai at ang buong Velarde family. Kaisa po kami sa inyong panalangin at pananampalataya. To God be the Glory!” she added.
