Former Senator Manny Villar is making a last-minute campaign pitch for his daughter, Las Piñas City Rep. Camille Villar for senator.
Villar, in a new campaign ad, took pride in his “favorite” child, saying she is smart, hardworking, and compassionate.
He added that Camille is not just a good daughter and mother, but also an inspiration to many.
Camille, the youngest child of the bilyonaryo championing the welfare of women and youth, is aiming for a Senate seat in the May elections.
“Camille has always been her own person. Matigas ang loob, may pusong maalaga,” he said.
Camille also understands what young Filipinos are going through-anxiety, self-doubt and the importance of self-care, according to Villar.
“I’m very proud of her,” he said about his daughter.
“Hindi lamang dahil sa anak. Hindi lamang dahil Villar siya. Ipinagmamalaki ko siya dahil siya si Camille. A hardworking public servant, a good person, the best version of myself,” he added.
