Las Piñas City Rep. Camille Villar, already backed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., has secured Vice President Sara Duterte’s endorsement too in the upcoming senatorial race.
The country’s veep has thrown her support behind Rep. Camille’s first senatorial run, apparently returning the love to the Villars after their support in her VP bid in the 2022 elections.
In photos circulating online, Duterte can be seen filming a new campaign ad of the young lawmaker. She joins Camille and her bilyonaryo dad, former Senator Manny Villar, in the political ad.
Rep. Camille, the youngest daughter of the bilyonaryo and wife Senator Cynthia Villar, is part of the Alyansa senatorial state endorsed by President Ferdinand Marcos in the May elections.
Prior to endorsing Rep. Camille, Vice President Duterte backed only the senatorial candidates fielded by the PDP party in the polls.
