Senator-Elect Camille Villar expressed her gratitude to Vice President Sara Duterte for her unwavering support that led to her victory during the May 12 elections.
“Maraming maraming salamat, VP Inday Sara, for standing with me all the way. Your friendship and support—both personal and political—mean the world to me and my family,” said Villar in a statement.
“Walang iwanan, just like we’ve always promised each other. Here’s to standing together for the country and the people we’ve both pledged to serve,” Villar added.
Villar, who was proclaimed the winner in the 2025 midterm elections, also expressed gratitude for the support given to her family and to everyone who helped her endure the grueling 90-day campaign.
She also vowed to be a new voice in the Senate, working hard and standing up for what is right.
As a first-time senator, Villar also committed not to disappoint, keeping in mind her promises to help fulfill the dreams of every Filipino and improve their lives.
